Coventry Police Information TIP LINE.

The Coventry Police Department's Most Wanted Web Page and Tip Line have been developed as an additional tool to help the police by reaching out to the community in an on going effort to obtain additional information about particular cases.

Coventry Police Tip Line........ In addition to the photo's found on Coventry's Most Wanted Webpage there are also open investigations being conducted that you may be able to assit with. Listed below are the headings of open investigations. For more information on these investigations click on the title. If you have any information regarding a particular incident send an email to: CPDMostWanted@coventrypd.org and the information will be forwarded to the investigating officer.

Time of incident: 6:00 – 6:30 pm
Location of incident: South Main St.

On Saturday 06/14/08 at 1830 hrs., patrols responded to investigate a reported Hit & Run accident. Upon arrival they spoke to a juvenile girl who stated that a black 4 door vehicle struck the rear tire of her bike while she was riding up South Main St. from Main Street. The suspect vehicle continued on South Main St. towards Tiogue Ave.
The girl reported that after being knocked off the bike she got up and rode home at which time her father reported the accident to the police.

No further description of the suspect vehicle has been obtained.
