•Pull over to the right side of the road as far as possible and stop.
•Turn off the ignition, and turn on the interior light if the stop occurs at night.
•Place your hands where the officer can see them, like on the steering wheel. DO NOT make any sudden movements and DO NOT exit the vehicle unless the officer asks you to.
•Have your license, registration, and proof of insurance in a place where it could be easily reached. Do not save old registrations and insurance cards.
•Please do not argue with the officer, if you are issued a ticket you will have the opportunity to go to court and dispute the violation.
