This is the Coventry Emergency Management Agency with an Important Announcement due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Today, the Governor announced that State parks and beaches will be closed beginning this Friday April 3rd and Campgrounds will not open until at least May 1st.
Tenants are protected from eviction during this time; more guidance will follow by April 17th.
Please keep a daily log of who you are in contact with each day, in the event you are exposed to the coronavirus.
Do not go out if you are not feeling well and limit the number of people who shop per household. Coordinate trips and include neighbors and extended family members who may have limited ability to go out.
With the closure of many non-essential business, please look into your unemployment benefit eligibility at www.dlt.ri.gov
Trained medical and behavioral health professionals who are not working full-time are being asked to assist with this response. Please sign up at www.riresponds.org.
