The Prosecution Unit, which falls inline with the Detective Division, is responsible for prosecuting all cases for the Coventry Police Department. These cases are heard in the Traffic Tribunal, Municipal Court, Family Court, District Court, and Superior Court. The Captain is assisted by a Lieutenant as well as a Detective who handles all juvenile cases. The Juvenile Detective works closely with our School Resource Officers, to ensure cases are handled in the best way possible to help the minor.
