This is the Coventry Emergency Management Agency with an Important Announcement due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Remember to keep a written log of who you are in contact with each day, in the event you are exposed to the coronavirus. This may be required in the future for testing.
Do not go to work sick, regardless if you are essential staff or not.
If you are feeling sick, please get tested. Call your private physician, an urgent care facility, or the Dept of Health at 401-222-8022 for guidance.
The Governor has extended the following until May 8: no social gatherings greater than 5 people, restaurant dine-in service closed, entertainment establishments and close-contact businesses closed, and 14-day self-quarantine for those travelling into RI.
School and child care center closure will have updated guidance soon.
RI Tax filing deadline is July 15th – same as the federal deadline.
Social distancing, proper hand washing, and staying home still need to be practiced by everyone!
Please go to www.coventryri.org for the most up to date information. Look for another scheduled CodeRED notification this Friday at 7pm.
