This is the Coventry EMA with a COVID-19 Update. First and foremost, all Coventry town buildings are closed or have limited access. Both Libraries, the Parks and Recreation Department, and the Senior Center are all closed with all programs and services suspended until further notice. The Town Hall has limited access and services and should be contacted by phone 401-822-9186 with questions. The Department of Public Works and transfer station are closed, trash pickup will continue on its regular schedule. The building, planning and zoning departments are closed for public entry but staffed for phone inquiries and some in-person appointments. Inspections will be completed as scheduled. Police and Fire Services continue as normal with the exception of limited access the Police Department lobby. If you are sick, please call your private physician for advice. If you require police assistance, or have a severe illness or injury, call 911 and the dispatcher will assist you. The dispatcher will ask you questions to see if you are at risk for the coronavirus.
